Really quite stunning at first glance, although I feel that there should be a bit more colour as it seems a little washed out maybe have a few more leaves with the sunlight coming though them as I think that's the highlight of the picture, but to be honest, the wash out quality adds to the overall effect nicely. I think this is a beautiful picture that somehow contrasts cold and warmth, (going a bit arty farty now haha, trying to fill up 100 words ) the cold of the season and the warmth of a roaring fireplace, and comforting things.
